VELOCITY NEWS    NEW ORDER OF VELOCITY                    SUNDAY MORNING CLASS  Starting September 5th High School Students will no longer participate in the music portion of the main service. SUNDAY MORNING
On Sunday mornings, Velocity students attend the main worship service for the music portion of the service. Right after the music, during the offering, these students are dismissed to attend the high school class that meets in the FCF Lounge area. High School students are presented with a FUN & LIVELY, ENGAGING & INTERACTIVE lesson that is also RELEVANT & MEANINGFUL to a high school student.

SMALL GROUPS
Velocity offers mid-week growth groups that helps students grow in their relationship with Christ. Most growth groups meet on Tuesdays, 7pm, at the church, but some other nights in other locations are available to students as well.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAM
The high school years are a great time for students to begin to learn about and understand leadership. The Velocity Student Leaders Team takes on the responsibility of planning and organizing many of the Velocity events. They also meet on a regular basis with adult leaders and are taught the basic leadership principles of servanthood, influence and integrity that will equip them for future years and experiences to come.

SERVICE PROJECTS
Several times a year high school students have the opportunity to experience what it's like to go out and serve others in the community and even across the world. Once a year a missions trip to the Dominican Republic is planned specifically for high school students.

FUN STUFF
Of course, what would a high school group b without purely fun stuff? Most every month there social activities planned just for fun and fellowship, like movie night, snow tubing, corn maze, bowling, and more.
