SUNDAY MORNINGS
On Sunday mornings, middle school students (known as Fusion) meet in the KidStuf Theater for a church experience that is relevant to them and meets their spiritual, emotional, and social needs. Their experience includes some “hang time” with videos, game stations, air hockey, and foosball. This is followed by music that has the kids on their feet, jumping and clapping. Then comes a large group teaching time that is FUN & LIVELY, ENGAGING & INTERACTIVE, as well as RELEVANT & MEANINGFUL to a middle school student. The experience ends with small group time, where students discuss the topic of the day in a gender and grade specific group (i.e. 6th grade girls, 8th grade boys, etc). These gender/grade specific groups are led by adult volunteers who regularly serve in this area, seeking to personally “get to know” your middle school child so that he or she feels like they have a place where they are KNOWN and they BELONG.
SMALL GROUPS
For those students who are really serious about their relationship with Christ and want to go deeper, Fusion offers two evenings a week for your middle school child to participate in a small group at the church. One small group meets the first 3 Tuesdays of each month at 7pm, and another group meets the first three Wednesdays of each month at 6:30pm. Students do not have to stick with one group or the other. They can change groups from week to week – whatever works best with your family schedule each week.
While middle school small groups are meeting, there is usually always an adult small group meeting at the church at the same time, with childcare provided for younger siblings. Check out the small groups page on the website to learn what groups are currently meeting.

KAOS
KAOS is a quarterly event held on a Saturday evening. It’s a fun theme night with CRAZY games! During this time, parents have the opportunity to watch and discuss a video series called “Running the Rapids: Guiding Teenagers through the Turbulent Waters of Adolescence,” by internationally known Christian psychologist, Dr. Kevin Leman. There’s childcare for the younger siblings.

SERVICE PROJECTS
Middle School students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of service projects throughout the year. Fusion students serve lunch at the Frederick Rescue Mission on the second Sunday of every month.
FUN STUFF
Most every month there is a special, fun outing like snowtubing, the corn maze, bowling, pool party, etc.
