Frequently Asked Questions

What if I need to be contacted during the service about an issue?
If the Children’s Ministry Staff needs to reach you during the service, the number on your child’s receipt will appear at the lower part of the video screens or if you were given a pager (Nursery through toddler) you will be paged.

What will my child be doing during the service?
Your child's first stop will be activity stations designed to provide a fun, child-centered, welcoming environment, followed by teaching by gifted communicators, music and motions, drama, puppets and videos designed to teach the Bible creatively to our kids in a large group program. The children then gather into interactive small groups where they learn how to apply the Bible truth to their everyday lives.

What security measures do you have in place to provide for my child’s safety?
Every child must check in at a Kiosk before coming to The Junction or the Lullaby Lagoon. Each child will receive a name tag that they must wear that displays their name, id number, and any known allergies. At this time, parents also receive a receipt that matches the child’s ID number.

What is a Kiosk?
We are using computer technology to store valuable information about each child to insure their safety. Each child will receive a nametag that contains:

a. The child’s name
b. Security number- the parent will receive a sticker with a matching number. These numbers will be checked as the child leaves to be sure they are leaving with the appropriate adult.
c. Allergies/Medical Concerns
d. Assigned group

How do I check out my child?
After the service is over, parents must bring the receipt that matches their child’s ID number listed on their name tag and show it to the Room Host. You will then be permitted to take your child from the room. Your child’s safety if very important to us!

How can I get involved?
At the Junction and Lullaby Lagoon there is a place for everybody! Do you enjoying nurturing infants, performing sketches, teaching kids, connecting with kids, manning technical equipment, creating stage props, assisting with copying and other clerical duties…or….then we have a place for you!
