GriefShare
If you are suffering from a recent loss, you know the deep sense of sadness, pain and loneliness that comes from losing someone close to you. Some have described it as walking through a tunnel, not knowing when you will see the light again. But there is hope. For people who are on the journey through grief, we have Griefshare, a 13 session video series and recovery group designed to answer questions about grieving and to give comfort, encouragement and support to you through relationships with others who know what it's like to feel this kind of sadness and pain.
For Griefshare meeting information, please contact the church office at 301 620 CALL (2255) , View the Support Groups List or email the care ministry.
Additional resources are available in our Care Ministry Resource Center and include: Grief and Loss, Embracing Life Again, The Empty Chair, Everyday Comfort, Permission to Grieve, I'll Hold You in Heaven. And for children: What Happens When We Die, Grief Through the Eyes of a Child, It's Okay to Cry, Young People and Grief
