What’s the big deal about membership?

At FCF, membership is much more than a name on a piece of paper.  It’s about being a PARTICIPATING MEMBER of Christ’s body, His church.  We believe that for a person to effectively function as a member of Christ’s body, as well as become a healthy and growing person, there are five irreducible minimums that must be a part of life.  These irreducible minimums are also critical to the success of our God-given mission as a church.

Therefore, a Participating Member of FCF Church is committed to these five irreducible minimums (the 5 C’s):

†    Connecting with God’s people
†    Cultivating Christlike character growth
†    Caring for people through ministry
†    Communicating the message of Christ
†    Contributing to the Kingdom of God through financial giving

The 5C Seminar

In order to become a Participating Member of FCF Church, a person must complete the 5C Seminar.  This seminar is held three times a year (fall, winter, spring) on a Saturday from 8:30am-12:30pm. Click here for information on the next 5C seminar.

Membership Renewal

Because membership is meaningful at FCF Church, a Participating Member is required to RENEW their membership each year.  Participating Members complete a renewal form in which they commit themselves once again to the 5C’s.
